The New Star Of Bethlehem
The New Star Of Bethlehem
The closeness of both Saturn and Jupiter in the night sky, on Winter Solstice 21st December 2020, appeared to be one and with the reflection of sunlight appeared as a bright star in the sky. Which has given rise to the notion of a "New Star Of Bethlehem".

The Grand Conjunction of Jupiter And Saturn

The conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter takes place every 20 years, but this year the closeness is within only 0.1% of a degree of separation. Which will look as though both planets are just one from our vision on Planet Earth. This closeness of alignment between these two planets has not been recorded for over 400 years.in 1623, but they were too close to the Sun to see from the UK or other middle latitudes at that point. The last time they could actually be observed so close together was in 1226.
The combination of these two events has not previously occurred in recorded history. It is widely considered to be the end of a 2000 year cycle of the Piscean Age and the beginning of a new 2000 year cycle of the Age of Aquarius.
