Jesse Owens' Historic Wins at the Berlin - 1936 Olympics
At the 1936 Berlin Games, Owens won four gold medals, in the 100m, 200m, 4x100m relay and the long jump. He managed to break or equal nine Olympic records and also set three world records. One of those world records was in the 4x100m relay. The quartet set a time that wouldn't be bettered for 20 years.
Right in front of the Nazi leader Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party, at the Olympics in Berlin 1936, who's belief and propaganda was that only the Aryan Race were all powerful.
Despite all the immense pressures put upon him to fail, his courage and determination, he overcame all.
This man was a light beacon in the midst of darkness
He was an icon for mankind against tyranny.
What is the moral of this historic story as many many others of those who have achieved the very same throughout history.
He or she who believes in themselves and their abilities, for the betterment of mankind, their courage, determination despite all facing them will see them through. Enabling their light to shine for all to see despite all the darkness around them.
Be It and follow his lead, in your own unique way, as many others have despite all throughout history.
This man was a light beacon in the midst of darkness. He was an icon for mankind against tyranny.
Be It and follow his lead as many others have despite all throughout history.
