Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived. happiness, sadness, knowledge, vanity and love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink. So all constructed boats to leave, except Love.

Love was the only one who stayed, wanting to hold out until the last moment.

When the island almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help from the ones passing by.

Love saw Wealth and asked : " Could I join you?"

To which Wealth replied : " No.I have too much gold and silver on the boat, there is no space for you."

Vanity was also passing by to which Love said

" Vanity please help me! "

But Vanity replied : " I can't, you're all wet and you'll damage my boat. "

Sadness was also close by so Love asked : "Sadness may I go with you ?" To which Sadness replied " Oh, Love... I'm so sad, I just want to be alone. "

Happiness was also passing by but it was so happy and overjoyed that it didn't hear Love at all.

Suddenly there was a voice saying : " Come Love, I will take you." It was an elder.

Love felt blessed and forgot to ask the route.

When they arrived on dry land the elder took it's own way. Realising how much was owed to this elder, Love asked Knowledge (another elder) : " Who helped me ?"

" It was Time! " Knowledge answered. To which Love asked : " But why did Time help me ?"

Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and said : " Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is."

Don't forget, you are always Loved.
